This is my first marine aquarium and it is a reef w/ soft corals and LPS corals. Its been up and running for about 7 months and is starting to fill in nicely.
    Tank:
    29T w/15g sump
35 lbs live rock in Display w/5lbs rubble in sump
Current USA Sundial T5 canopy, which is set to a 10 1/2 hour photoperiod, with 1 hour each of sunrise ad sunset.
I rely on frequent water changes to maintain the trace elements and run the airline for the skimmer outside, this feeds super fresh air into the tank and everything seems to be growing well since doing this. All water is R/O which is filtered in my basement where it is warmed and aerated before using. I use Tropic Marin Reef salt and i love it. The only additive is a little reef buffer in the fresh water top off. I settled on his method after much trial and error and it seems to work fairly well.

Fish: Sailfin Tang (bought before i knew anything and is leaving soon)
    Starry Blenny
    2 Blue Chromis
    Mis-bar percula
    Six Line Wrasse
Watchman Goby paired w/ Pistol Shrimp (gotta love symbiants)
    3 Pacific Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
    3 Hawaiin Feather Dusters
A couple blue leg Hermits and all the requisite snails

    Corals: Green Open Brain
Pulsing Xenia (which gets trimmed regularly)
Pink tipped Green Frogspawn (bought as three head frag, now has over 12 heads)
Pink star polyps with green centers (bought as frag, check the coverage)
    Red and Green Mushrooms
    Pink and Blue Ricordeas
    Green,Brown,orange and yellow Button polyps
    Trumpet Coral
    Tree coral (kenya,taro? anyone know)

well thats that, let me know what you think, and ill be postig more pictures as well.

Great tank. I love mis-bar clowns! Are you adding anything once the tang is gone?

I think i'm gonna let all the fish simmer for little while, really just looking for small, rare fish. One or two and i'll be as stocked as i want to be. The LFS store said they'd take it, so i may try a trade for a nice acan or green ricordeas

Good to know that you are getting rid of it soon. Sailfins are cool, too bad they get so big.

I never could figure out why everyone said tangs need so much swimming room? Everytime I looked at my 7" sailfin, he was just hovering in the same spot lookin back at me! I never could squat down, and look at the tank without him blocking my view !!

Yeah....great looking tank. Excellent Frog in there. I just bought a bigger one myself yesterday and am waiting for it to open up fully. I am a sucker for frogspawn.
