3+14=30 gallons of awesome!

Hey guys/gals my name is Josh and this is my first tank thread on 3reef. I am good friends with mikejrice on the forum and he has forced me to buy a brand new 30 gallon nuvo tank from Innovative marine. you are probably thinking my math skills are horrible since the name of my thread clearly doesn't add up. I have two tanks running right now that I am planning on combining into this tank. My 3 gallon pico has been running for about 2 years now and my 14 gallon biocube has been up for about a year. I recently just had a little human frag named Jaxon and I decided it will be easier to care for one tank rather than 2. Anyways enough rambling, I only have equipment at the moment and I'd like to hear what you guys think of the equipment I plan to use. This might be a slow thread but I'll try to make it fun for everyone lol. On to a couple pics.

Quick question. Do you guys think I should go with the Stan made by innovative marine or should I do a DIY stand? Mike said he had to reinforce his which makes me a little nervous.

 

DIY is the way to go. +1 Most things made by press board or at a factory is garbage.
