Skimmer is finally installed and being broken in. My kessil should be here this week. Can't wait to get the ai off of the lid, I am thinking of going topless because everything is better topless.

My corals haven't looked this good in a while. This scoly was in my 3 gallon and when the 3 went downhill so did the scoly. I'm hoping it will grow back to its full glory.

I did some bouncing around on here, but I want to know about the problems you had with the aquaticlife mini skimmer 115?? I have one and have been having a huge problem with micro-bubbles for far too long....

 

I never even set mine up to be honest with you. I heard all of the funky little issues that other were having and went another route, I now own the innovative marine skimmate and I'm happy with it.

 

what did you do with the skimmer?? It has been producing excellent skimmate, but I am going to have to send it back to AquaticLife this week for a new one...

The Innoveative Marine skimmer seems like a good choice as well, but please tell me some of the issues that you had heard about the 115 mini skimmer?

 

Just noisy and skims super wet as well as micro bubbles. There is some kind of airline mod you can do to it but honestly I don't want to have to mod a piece of equipment that should work correctly in the first place. I decided not to use it so its in the equipment fs thread.
