    kk will try and do the 1 inch for dure then but I still have to figure out if I want to drill or do a hob overflow box.

    havent gotten a return pump yet I am still deciding what type of ovweflow im wanting to do and how to do it. its a 75 gallon that not frilled with a tempered bottom any indea would be helpful at this point.

    Glass holes over flows are nice. I would decide on how go you are looking to get through you sump, decide on a return pump, then that will dictate your return size an also what you will need for an overflow and pipe size from there.
