    Don't know for sure but water temp might be an issue. Like I said don't really know but the water out there is a little cooler than we keep our tanks...

    I did notice that, but they seem to be doing very well. I get my water from Scripps Pier in La Jolla. It's a filtered hookup in La Jolla, and it's free. Many fish stores in San Diego get water from there, but it's always MUCH colder than my tank.

    I've decreased the temp in my tank (since it's getting much hotter in San Diego anyway), but only to a limit where everyone will be happy.
