Now that boost LED is having a sale I might want to upgrade my RSM lighting and get 3 BoostLED par30s with clamps. But, I have a few questions first.
    1) Could it burn my xenia or anthelia located in the top third of the tank?
    2) Will I have any dark spots with 3 bulbs?
    3) Can I put dimmers on them?
    Thanks! :)

This probably should have been in BoostLED's sponsor forum. Could a mod please move it.
    Sorry

Not sure about the first two but I know for sure they can't be dimmed.

I have three over my 20 gallon and can say that you need to take the crossover slowly use shorter light periods and really watch and see how your coral react. I went from t5 to leds and noticed that if you start at four hours and increce by an hours every week that will really help the corals more. there might be a few dark spots but nothing major with three lights

I think they're an excellent product and definitely worth the money. I have four of them.

agreed the price is great when they have sales and os far as the product goes I love them well built solid and resist rust with no problems. as far as being worth the money I wont have to change the bulbs for about another 7 years and my electricty bill came up 8 dollars cheeper a month with the leds in there vs the 4 t5's.

I can say also I have there fist model bulbs and they have from what I can see only improved there products from when I bought mine. the color does make your corals pop to pluse mine after running for a full 10 hours are cool enought to touch with my hands.

Thanks for the input nismo, and rc!
I like them, but what I am worried about is loosing the sleek look to the RSM. I would have to completely remove the hood and the back filter compartments would be easily seen.
