I've got a mated pair of false percs in the tank now. I also have a rbta for them that they haven't hosted yet. A friend of mine is selling a sebae clown w/ its anemone (it's a really nice bta of some kind...not green or rose). I'm planning to keep the btas on opposite sides of the tank, but am a little worried about the clowns fighting. Thoughts?

Well the nem's will move wherever they want, so that poses a problem. How long is the tank? If it's long enough, i don't see a problem with 3 clowns, because occy clowns usually don't stray too far from their host.

I wouldn't risk it. The larger female will kill the other one quickly. I wouldn't put 3 in anything less then a 7 foot tank

The tank is 4 feet long. The occy pair hasn't hosted yet to anything (I have the rbta, but they haven't "found" each other yet). The rbta is at the far right of the tank, so I'm thinking if I start the new guy at the far left, chances are he'll find a spot before traveling the full length of the tank.

The Occy pair hasn't hosted because Clowns don't host Anemone's do.;)
Sebaes can be pretty aggressive so I would say no as well. The Anemones will move.Usually were you don't want them to IME.

lol. famous last words. Like Vinny said, anemones tend to go where you don't want them. The last time i added an anemone, it was to the far right and by morning it had moved 3 feet to its current position in the middle of the tank.

I guess the deal would be what if your current occupants want the OTHER anemone?
