I was wondering about clownfish, I have 2 already in my tank, one of the two hasn't changed sex's yet and I have a 120 gallon tank. I was looking into getting one more clownfish, an aust. black occ. if I were to put it in the tank, would the other 2 kill him or would there be any fight what so ever?

Is it the same species or different. IMO the tank is big enough it should be ok but other things has happened.

    I have 2 Nemo's and a clarkii in a 31g with no fighting for over 6 mounts.

I have only had them 6 mounts.

sure it can be done. But understand this is like driving with out your seat belt on, some people never get in a accident and some people fly through the windshield.

I have 2 black and white clowns in my 150g... Then one day I decided to add a true percula.. They pretty much killed him in a week.. ( I wasn't home for that week so I couldn't take him out till it was too late..)

But of what I got to see.. They were pretty violent attacks on that clown from the female. It really depends on your fish.

I started with damsels and then the nice fish but when i had both all my fish wear really mean but when i got rid of the damsels my yellow tang stopped fighting with my clowns and the tank became really peaceful.

I think for the most part fish are only as aggressive as the company they live with. IE i had mean clowns and now i have nice clowns.
