    Currently on my 20gal 4x24w T5HO:
    Coral+
    Blue+
    Aquablue Special
    Blue+

Everything is growing fine under this combo but I am actually thinking of changing it to have 3 "full spectrum" bulbs instead of 2 but keeping the blue/purple look. So, this is what I was thinking:
    Coral+
    Coral+
    Blue+
    Coral+

I dunno... any thoughts?? I figured this combo would make the tank look more blue/purple than my current bulb combo but still keep a good growth rate since the ATI coral + bulbs are suppose to be a full spectrum bulb.

2in10 suggested 1:1 ratio of blue+ and coral + to me. Just an idea.

And I suggest it to you also. Alternate the bulbs. Start with a Coral Plus for a lighter look and a Blue Plus for a bluer look.

    That's exactly it... bored lol

Just wanna experiment with bulbs. I find the coral plus isn't very white to me... it is bright though.Hmm... maybe I will do 2 coral+ and 2 Blue+....?? I dunno.

Well I really can't say as I've not tried that combo. I can only speak on what I'm now running, which is exactly the same your running now. But it's a thought :) Also I really know very little about lighting/spectrum/par stuff~lol.
Just be careful with your lower light needy corals :) Unless of course your thinking of going all SPS on us~lol.

So, I turned off all lighting in the tank except for the one Blue+ and Coral+ and I love it!!! It looks really nice!! I think having 3 coral+ with a single blue+ and having all of my 32 accent lighting LEDs set to blue and purple will look really nice!!! But I just thought of something. I know that the aquablue special adds a different spectrum than the coral+ but they are both considered full spectrum bulbs. If I do go with 3 Coral+ and 1 Blue + will the addition of 2 more coral+ bulbs be able to subsadise for the removal of the aquablue special? Do you think 3 Coral+ bulbs and a blue+ can grow my acros and other sps as well as my current bulb combo?

    From MarineDepot-

ATI Coral Plus Combines the properties of a Blue Plus (~50%) + Aquablue Special (~40%) + Purple Plus (~10%) producing a bulb with an approximate color temperature of 15000K+. Appears cool, crisp white to the eye. Recommended Use: as a stand-alone bulb or in combination with Blue Plus, Purple Plus, True Actinic or other supplemental T5 bulbs.

I know the Special is 12k

Blue Plus Combines the properties of a blue bulb (approximately 460nm) with an actinic bulb (approximately 420nm) producing an intense blue light with high PAR numbers and a light spectrum that encourages both bluing in SPS corals and fluorescence in capable corals.

So then to me a bulb combo of 3 coral plus and 1 blue plus would do the job fine then and still look really nice. In any case I'll give that combo a shot :p May not even need my LED strips.... Or I can set them to white or something lol.
