I got my Solar Wrasse Thursday night and right now he peeks out of the rock but will still not come out for the food. I have a Mandarin, Male Oscellaris Clown, Bi-Color Blenny. Could the Wrasse but scared of the Clown or Blenny. Anyone else have a Fairy Wrasse with the same fish? I know I should give it a week, I am just anxious for him to start swimming in the front of the tank.
    Thanks,
    Adam

Solarensis, and many fairies for that matter, are poor shippers and take time to settle down and swim. Just keep an eye on him and make sure he comes out to eat at least a little. If he starts eating you are good, if not than it might be a losing battle. Keep trying to get him to eat and he will do just fine. As far as the other fish bothering him, with that mix you have, I doubt it. He just needs to acclimate.

    Good luck!

I got some Live Brine last night and will add some selcon to it and hopefully he will eat it. He is peeking out of the rock this morning. Maybe he is scared of the Blenny?

What type of blenny is it? How long have all the other inhabitants been in the tank?
Try a garlic type additive/attractant, that will most likely be more helpful than selcon, but selcon is still a nice additive;just a vitamin/omega additive.
    How are the paramaters?
Like I stated before fairy wrasses are awful shippers and he just needs some time to get into the swing of things, if he isn't starting to lay towards the bottom of the tank or pant alot he SHOULD pull through.

    Good luck

A Bi-Color Blenny I have had about 2 months and a small Male Oscellaris Clownfish about 9 months, a Mandarin about a year. He sits on the sand but does not lie down on it. I will try the live brine today and see. I have to wait till I see him in the front of the tank though. When I got him from the LFS they only had him for 2 days. Usually I wait at least a week but The store was far from me and he did eat some arctic pods there.
