So I have been having problems with my diy sump and I had to turn it off for about 2 weeks. That meant that only my 2 powerheads circulated the water and skimmer was off. So my nitrates and amonia got high. I come home 2 days ego and my foxface, blue tang and strawberry wrasse were dead  . This is the same day that I have gotten my sump parts and I was about to reconnect everything. But anyways I did 30% water change, reconnected the sump and everything seems to be OK now.

I only a maroon clown left and a cardinal in a 90 gallon tank. I need suggestions on how to restock my aquarium.

I was thinking maybe adding 4 firefish, 1 yellow tang and maybe (big maybe) a trigger? Did I mention its a reef with corals ?

I have a firefish one of 2 originals (one took a jump). From what I have read they are very aggressive towards others unless a mated pair. The triggers are hit and missin a reef tank as they can aquire a taste for corals if not sufficient feedings. The Tang would be nice and docile. So I would go with 2 of the FF and a Yellow Tang. You might have a soft cycle going on so limit your additions until all params are stable.$$$$$ JMHO;)

Sorry for your losses. If you are going to attempt 4 FF add them all at once. Triggers are time bombs in reef tanks. Tang would be OK as long as you got one of the smaller species.
