3 inch for 29g

horray~ i finished it. Now its around 1 inch of sand. I also changed the rocks placing. Now tank looks pretty clean since I scooped all the sand with diatoms on it, and clean the glass tank. And now my sand just has bit of left over diatoms, with some long brown strings sticking out.

What can these string looking thing be? Left over diatom? some are stuck on my rocks too, and they wave around cuz of the current

i meant by "horray i made the sand 1 inch" not "horray cycle is done" =)
