Feeling a bit sentimental (might be from cabin fever) I just set up my T5's and am ready to begin my return into the coral game. As a thank you to all of you on here helping me through all my tanks I want my first coral to be something you all decide on! And I'll do my best to keep it alive. Something in the softie family I'd think, since I only have T5's at the moment. Have at it.. I'll check back this afternoon and go purchase whatever you all come up with!

Done! That was a hard choice with all those responses to chose from. I shall call it OFK!

My LFS is closed due to emergency so I'll pick one up tomorrow.

I like the toadstool - I was going to throw a ricordia covered rock out there.

You could just do a species tank with either GSP or Xenia. You would only need a small frag.

You say "just t-5". How many bulbs (and type) and are they individual reflectors? T-5s can easily sustain anything you desire.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I really like the Toadstool (Sarcophyton) as well, a Figi is even better. Have fun!

I'm thinking a nice fire and ice zoa covered rock about 3 inches long. I know a guy that has one. Kevin, it's a nice fixture but with the depth of his tank a 4 bulb fixture will definitely need supplementation. Start slow chris!

Like DSC said. My tank is pretty big for this fixture but it's a better start than I had. I'll add some halides down the road. I picked up a good size frogspawn yesterday (6 heads) and will see how that goes. The fixture is an Aquatic Life but it has wave point bulbs in it. I will be switching them out over the next couple weeks with ATI. And there will never be Xenia or GSP in this tank! EVER
