Yeah stocking isn't just about ammonia and stuff... You have to consider swim space and oxygen levels, it's hard to keep oxygen up with 6 fish. I think 3-4 is perfect, and with a nice skimmer an flow, maybe 5.

Oxygen levels? Cant you just lower your water a bit more and have a higher output?

Yeah, saltwater can't retain oxygen as well as freshwater.

Once I get a nice skimmer and sump I'll bump it up to 5 maybe lol. Now that I have a water station it should be easier. I'll get the six line probably early march. The stuff I ordered is coming any hour now so I'm pretty excited. I want my calc levels on target before I add anything else.

Also, my ha and cyano is dwindling away. It's looking good so I'll take a pic soon.

What is a water change station exactly?
And why do you need to measure calcium? I know for your corals, but any other reasons?

Its a 22 gal tub with my rodi filter mounted above it near a hose. I fill it with a reservoir of saltwater and do pwc with it.

Nope, they just need it to grow. I also check my alkalinity because that's the other half of what mainly makes them. Calcium carbonate:)

I just tested and have 380ppm, 0 Trate, 0ammo, 0 trite, 9 dkh, and 8.1 ph. I am now dosing with 2 little fishies 2 part and it's working fantastically. It was at 320 when I first tested.

Your calcium is at 320?! 450 is a good number to shoot for.
