    update

the cyano/ green hair is coming back.... i think its because of my water flow.. how much flow should i have with all these sps? i have a 550 ph and 2 filters that probably equal out to 400 gph. i just want it gone lol. i dont have any cerith snails but i have turbos, hermits (not sure what type), emerald crab, fire shrimp, and now 3 nassarius snails. would the ceriths help? ive been trying pretty hard to get rid of it but my trates are low and ive been feeding less with >9 hours of light on. no negative effects on my corals but i just think its ugly.

also, i am in the process of buying materials for a 10 gallon sump, maybe bigger if i can fit it. does anyone know how to plumb these things? i have the overflow so i just need pipes. i was really hoping to have flex hose just because im able to make mistakes with it and not have a disaster. i do want it to be able to be changed though. are there any good things on the market right now for that? how much should my pump going back to the tank be if I have 4ish feet of head pressure. im not exactly new at this, just dusty lol. any advice/ suggestions would be great, ill need all i can get.

    Two things I would do:

    1. Go to reefcleaners.org and Have John put together a custom cuc for you.

    2. Add another 550 powerhead. Your hard corals need it. Your Hob won't do much.

ya i saw. they are so much cheaper than all of my lfs. i hope it will be under 15$, then ill be able to buy the pump too. i also need supplies for my sump, a salifert calcium test kit, and soon ill need some more salt. its getting expensive really fast lol. the sump will probably just have to wait but i kinda need it soon.
