    I use coralife. It's high in calcium:) but low in alk:( I buy it at petsmart.

    Salinity and reef crystals and VERY high quality. IMO you'd be fine with just instant ocean or coralife until you get sps. What do you use?

    i like my reef crystals a lot more than compared to when i used instant ocean. it doesnt clump up and its high in calcium.

    im getting the sump today!!!

    if you are going to do a lot of corals, then i would go with it. its easy to use and not that expensive. buy it for sale and keep it air tight. you could also buy in bulk. that makes it a lot cheaper but i dont know where i would fit another 5 gallon bucket.

    im so excited! i cant wait to get a pump for it. it has everything else and the guy is nice.
