alright. its pretty cheap to do, like 6$ but ill probably wait and use that money to buy a frag lol. im thinking of getting another birdsnest next.

once i can see that there are tons of them in there yes ill start sucking them up and feeding the scooter. right now hes fine scavenging and eating mysis.

can anyone suggest something i should do with my tank? a new coral i should buy, new fish, supplies, diy project, etc. anything plz!!

I say new coral! Youve done enough diy with the sump, just got the wrasse, and you seem set on supplies. I'd go for an awesome softie colony, or maybe an ATO

Corals! Get corals! Or a fish.

To raise the dt water level, slightly close the ball valve coming from the overflow OR Open the ball valve a little more on the return.

nope, that will raise the level in the sump. i think i have to raise the overflow box. the thing is, then i get bubbles from the water dropping into the box. i guess thats good though, more surface tension being broken.

I have started to completely stir my sand in the dt so i can get the detritus out of it . its not going to kill any bacteria living in there because its such a shallow sand bed and ive been mixing it during water changes. ill do this once a week and it will hopefully help with the cyano im dealing with.
