Alright.. This isn't going to be as easy as I thought. Did you use eggcrate to block things off? I might need to buy mesh..

 

Well it floats so as long as some egg crate is blocking the chaeto from the impeller by a few inches it should be ok. I have the same filter on my freshy tank.

 

Okay, it won't be crazy hard then, I do get a little microbubbles with it on. I expect that to go down when I add things to it.

 

I worked perfectly I might make a thread about how to do it because it seems like It will be very convenient. All I need to do now is add a light and some chaeto. There's two big compartments.. What should I do with the second? Also, what light should I get? I want it to look fairly organized.

 

Sweet! if it was me I would do one compartment as a fuge with lr/chaeto and the other I would throw in some purigen and chemi pure.

 

Have you considered an ATO? I made a gravity fed one with an eshopps float valve for 30$.
