    Yeah, you'll start noticing how it wont skim good stuff. By good stuff I mean the most putrid stuff you've ever seen.

    We've knocked the SeaClone 100 around quite a bit in other 3Reef forums, but the fact is that it is not bad. It's just that other skimmers seem to be better.
    I've had mine for 7 months now, and it works fine. It produces 1/3 of a collection cup of nasty green skimmate every week. As you discovered, it's tempermental and can produce tons of microbubbles if not carefully adjusted.

    In addition to SAW39's comment, I found that the SeaClone performs much better as in in sump skimmer than as a hangon. The 'J' tub cuts down on the flow. If you are using it as a hangon, a stronger pump than the MaxiJet 1200 that comes with it makes it work much better.
