    I need a gift around $300 for a friend. He has a 70 gallon reef tank just like me and i am clueless about what to get him. Nothing live! Thanks! ;D

    RO/DI deffinatly if he doesnt already have one, if he does then i agree with the vortec MP10, or maybe 2 media reactors, and a jar / bag of GFO and carbon would be nice.

    or a 90 gallon tank :)

    Water is the single largest ingredient in a reef system and everything depends on its quality. If they don't already have a RO/DI the Spectrapure MaxCap is the very best you can buy and on sale at places like Marine Depot, Premium Aquatics and here:

    When I got my first one the list price was like $389 so the sale price is a steal.

    i mean this cant be any better of a reason!! and it will make his tank thrive!! i took az recommendation and i will NEVER live a reefing day without a spectra pure ro/di unit.... :end: .... or with dirty water :)
