+1 on getting cheap tank.

 

yea the problem is, the expensive light, and rock and sand and fish and the biggest problem is convincing my gf a 3rd! tank is a good idea. hahaha i might just sit on it for a while and somewhere down the road set it up. wish i had not just drilled my 40B as this would have looked much nicer next to my 75gal. but i cant justify throwing away the 40$ i spent on the tank. and who would buy a 40B with a hole in it? haha

 

alright just found some PAR led lights! here is CL add

called the guy and he said he was not sure what par leds they were just that his friend got them from a big fish store in kingston ny. he said he thinks they have about 10 leds each, and have the hanging brackets with them.

how can i identify what par lights these are????

would 2 par 30 or par 38 leds work good over the 30 cube?

 

1 watt or high quality 3 watt or low quality 3 watt LED's?

 

he didnt seem to know much. i am going to look at them tomorrow night hopefully. would there be any recognizable markings i can look for to tell what they are?

 

see what you people talked me into?! now im buying stuff for a new tank that i have no space or money for...ugh *sigh* ah oh well

its gonna be tough to id the lights. they all look very simliar. I tried a search for a 10 bulb par38 and came up with nothing. found a 9 bulb and 12, and these were off brand from ebay.

Rapid Led's par 38's have 7 or 12 leds.
