Or both! Hello fellow reefers... I am picking up 2 used tanks. I don't know my thoughts yet but could not pass up the deal. Might keep one, might keep both.

Here are my ideas. Use the 57 rimless as my frag tank and sell my 30 frag tank.

60 cube... set up as a sps tank or anemone tank with some designer clowns.

Both came with a decent amount of equipment I need to go through and clean up.

Thoughts or ideas for a project?

Run them both, I would do it just like you said. 57 rimless as a BB frag tank with one or two super cool fish and the 60 as a colony heavy tank and small bio-load (a pair of clowns and goby)

Cube over rimless for me, but it's a hard choice.

Arg! The cube was sold out from under me! I got the 57 and got a 34 cube instead.

Gonna do both! Frag tank w the 57 to replace my 30 deep blue and the 34 cube as an anemone tank.

Well I suppose its true what they say then, two tanks are better than one! Sorry you missed out on the 60 cube. I love mine. Sounds like you have a very nice project ahead!

After getting the 57, I may have other plans. It has 1/2" starfire glass on 2 sides and not a blemish on the glass. it is in great shape. It is also SO HEAVY!I don't think it is going to fit right next to my fuge.... HMMMM what to do what to do??? I can build yet ANOTHER stand in my sump room and still pipe it in, but the issue is I don't spend a ton of time in that room. or I could set it up in my office which is opposite the sump room and easily run a drain to the sump and tie in a return line and rework my pumps.

The 34 I am setting up for my wife. I want to make it her tank, it will not be a part of my system, I have the sump, skimmer, mp10 would just need a light for it. Maybe a kessil. A little of a peace offering and something to try to get her more into the tanks. She loves the fish, does not love fact I am impulsive and she calls our other tank MY TANK and she has no say.... she has say.... as long as she says OK to what I want in the tank! No hun you don't understand - we cant put that with the reef, no hun we cant add a hippo tang because daddy wants an achillies tang.... My name is Mike and I have a problem....lol

Hello Mike... welcome to the group... lol

As for the 57. I have been wanting to build a mushroom cultivation tank and this would work nicely. Stock tons of rare, colorful shrooms and chop away. Easy to care for and will look interesting once filled in with hundreds of shrooms.
