congrats on the new tanks! that's really nice to set one up for the wife - I think your idea of a nem tank with some designer clowns is a great idea!

I would like to admit that I am completely out of control and it only took me stopping by my buddys shop to add more to my confusion.....

I am keeping the 34 Cube and going to build a very nice furniture quality stand, stained oak built in lighting the whole 9 yards. I have almost everything I need (return pump, skimmer, media reactor, heater, sump and MP10 ) except a light for it, probably go Kessil with gooseneck I like how that looks on a rimless cube. I will set that up for the wife as a surprise... (yikes) I think I will set this up as a stand alone.

The 57 has a large center overflow. does not make for a great frag tank. I still may swap it out for my 30DB rimless and build up rocks with frag plug holes drilled throughout to make it look a little nicer than the black eggcrate frag holders. I need to think about this one as if I switch out my 30, I would need to pick up a new light.

As far as setting it in my office - I know me. I had a 120 that I was going to do a FOWLR tank in my office and I didn't because my end goal is to do a much larger tank upstairs where the DT tank is. At that point I would probably move the DSA tank downstairs.

I am going to start building a stand for the 34. I will use oak. Slightly oversized as I know me and the 34 cube will become a 60 so I want to make the stand so it will take a 60. I will keep it furniture quality. I will make sure the cabinet is lit when the doors open as I did that on the stand I built for my 90 wave tank and will never build another stand that doesn't have lighting in it. I will start a build tread and post pics along the way.

My name is Mike and I have a serious problem. Okay so now I have 2 tanks I am about to build out and what do I do? I picked up a 3rd. I just picked up a 75 that is drilled because I wanted more room in the tank for my frag tank. So I am setting up the 34 cube as a stand alone for the wife, I am setting up the 75 and pluming it into my system, I am selling the 57 rimless and 30 rimless frag tank.
