ok so i just went and checked it out. It's not a 36 cube. It's a 24 cube. 60 gallon tank. It's not an actual fish tank, it a pool demo product. But i could easily turn it into a tank. Never opened still in box. Tonight was the first night he opened it. Probably a quarter inch thick all the way around. Top is sealed off to except for a 12 inch diameter hole up top. Would i be ok to use as a tank?

only thing is it's not "technically" a fish tank. Think I'd be ok with it?

If it's normal acrylic, sealed properly (no leaks or big bubbles), and you're willing to drill it or do what's needed, I think it'd be awesome. That top piece would help with any bowing, and that cirlce might be perfect for an MH Pendant light fixture :D

I would personally freshwater leak test it for at least a week.

That looks like an overflow in the corner to me. What is that square?

    I think it is awesome!

But, you would almost have to do a drilled overflow with a sump to increase the surface area of your total water volume.. thats the only problem I can see associated with it.. other than that, get it because I think box tanks are super cool
