I think it would probably work well as a fish tank, but you better fresh water leak test it a week or so before you attempt to make it a reef.

I would buy it if it were very cheap. You could easily make it work, unless there are some glaring design issues with it.

Yeah he wants $100 for it. So i think i'm gonna go with it. Gonna drill it, make my own overflow, and use a ten or 20 gallon for a sump. LFS said they'd help me construct everything since i'm kind of new. So yeah! Gonna be starting a build thread very soon )

Research it first. Might not even be worth buying second hand for $100. It's a pool part so god knows.

 

Took the tank to the LFS and she said it was a steal. All we gotta do is drill for the overflow, build and overflow (or buy one) and start to assemble the tank pieces. I need to get a skimmer, and a return pump. I also need to build a sump for it. But the tank itself i am told is perfect.
