    Come on...you can't hurt a damsel...but unnecessary cruelty is unjust. I digress, your tank does have some choice pieces in your scape. Hope your cycle goes well and IMO Bio-Spira may speed the cycle up.

    Second day with the raw shrimp in the tank:skull: Today when I came home from work I could smell the shrimp rotting away in my tank as soon as I opened my front door.. Is there anything I can do to cut down on the smell??? The Ammonia is up to 2.0 this afternoon. How high will the Ammonia get??? When should I remove the rotting shrimp?

    My friend came by last night , he has a 20 gallon FOWLR that he inherited from a friend... So I asked him to bring a cup of his sand and a little piece of live rock so i could put it into my tank.... Ammonia is still at 4.0 here's a photo of my tasty shrimp...

    You could move that shrimp to a higher flow area so speed things up...
