It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Wow a lot has happened in your tank world. Those smooth skin acropora are touchy, I usually stick to a very thorough visual inspection, but that is a tough call.

Thank you! Things are really starting to come together for my tank. Also I knew that acro might not make it but I had to try to save it. I figured there was enough good left on it I could give it a better chance than it had at the lfs. Unfortunately the frags flesh is beginning to deteriorate at the bottom, I don't know if I will be able to save it.

Picked up a really nice green slime frag, it was a dull in color but after one day it's starting to color up. I will post pictures in tomorrow at some point.

Here is a top down shot I took while cleaning. The acros have such nice colors I wish my camera took better pictures.

So I have been saving up for a second hydra 26, the single hydra doesn't provide enough light to the edge of the tank. It is taking more time then I thought to save money so I'm bringing the led strips from my 10gal out of retirement. They will only be on about 4 hours to match the height of the hydra setting. I will have pictures tomorrow, hopefully when the lights are on.

I'm beginning to gather supplies for a new sump build I'm beginning to plan and just plumbed a new pump.

Here's the pic with the extra lights on, I like the fact that there is no shady spots in the corners.

Well I finished my sump upgrade, went with a 40b and it came out pretty good. It adds about 20+ gallons to the system and really let's me have tons of options for upgrades down the road.

The next project will be running electrical so that it is on its own breaker because those wires are really unorganized.

I have taken a couple of frags from my corals and hopefully they will continue to be healthy. I'll post some pictures when I can of those. Also one of the corals I bought a while back has come around and colored up and I believe it is a tricolor acro. Hard to believe when I bought it it was brown. Will have pictures of that soon too.

I also bought a beautiful blue staghorn frag that I can't wait to be done acclimating. It has nice polyp extension and today was the second day in my tank.
