The anemometer is in there still and it's huge and has been wandering for weeks now, currently he's tryin to hide in the back which I don't mind because he has damaged some pieces of coral.

The nice part is that the only thing I have been doing is a 5gal water change once a week, I have kalk in the ATO, TLF phosban with carbon and one with GFO and that's it. I've been wanting to add some additives to see if I can maximize growth rate on the sps but I hate to rock the boat for fear of it screwing everything up. Only disappointment is losing that brain coral and honestly I haven't got the slightest clue why he didn't make it.

 

Also thank you for the kind words, coming from you guys with all of your experience with corals it means a lot. I can't wait until things start really growing out .

 

Well as summer heat comes to an end in Ohio, I can proudly say the tank made it through its first 6 months with ease (knock on wood). But I have a storm brewing off in the distance and they came on a frag. I am beginning to have a small flatware invasion, I have a six line and I hope he's up to the task. But my work has slowed to the point I can make it home before the lights turn off so I can actually get pictures and post them.
