    Thank you.

During the first flow check last weekend we discovered the "mandatory, leaky PVC fitting"...but more of a setback is that the skimmer pump's output has markable decreased from what it was previously...

This week, the office work has kept me from addressing either of these issues. We will complete the software upgrade today and then I'll have some time to get back to testing.

Still need to clean up the wiring and set up the ATO.

Not to assume or offend, but was the test done with fresh water?

Yeah mine loved to play in the high flow areas, they would swim right into the output of the 2 MaxiJets 900's I have in the tank, then stop and let the flow blow them back into the tank and turn around and do it again. They usually kept this up for 5 or 10 minutes or until they got tired, at least I assume that they were tired.

Man for what you have invested in that chiller which your going to need with metal halides, I would have gone with T5's with an High ouput LED chaser to get that metal halide shimmer, JMO.

Completed the leak check and pumped out the water. The flow from the sump was too low. So, I've upgraded to a sump pump that is ~300 gph at the head we are working with. I think this is still too low as there is no movement of "trash" on the bottom of the aquarium.

So, today I ordered a basic VorTech MP10 which I will mount on the back wall to create a current from one back corner, around the front, to the other back corner. Being variable, we should be able to work out a balance with the seahorse to not blow them around or let trash build up on the seafloor...

Now, I'm off to build the aqua scape.
