my brittle comes out of his hiding spot at night. so you might not have to tear down the rockwork. hes bigger than yours and hasnt hurt anything. havent even target fed. mines brown.

I might be able to lure him out with food. He is a black one with grey stripes. I haven't seen him do it, just cant think of anything else in the tank that would be killing fish.

My reef professional recommends Sand Sifter stars. I have two in my 210g and they are docile and don't bother anything.

Well surprise surprise no one wants a fish killing brittle star. So here is my plan. I have been turning my moon lights off at night. This gives the star the advantage. He has no eyes and can use his senses to hunt, but the fish cant see him. So my theory is if I leave the moonlights on all night, it will be dark enough for them to rest but maybe they can see the star coming for them. So I'm gonna give this a shot as I really don't want to kill the star.

Just one emerald. And he is afraid of anything that comes near him, so I doubt its him. Oh and some blue leg hermits for my CUC.
