    Viigo.

    Download | Viigo

Each forum has it's own RSS feed on 3reef (and other vbulletin powered forums). Add the RSS feed into any newsreader and you can view the feeds (posts) directly without having to visit the site. Viigo updates the app via the RSS feed and you can view each post without visiting the site at all.

    General Topics:
    http://www.3reef.com/forums/external.php?type=RSS2

    ASAP:
    3reef Forums - ASAP

    Etc.

So, you don't have to have a 3reef mobile app, just find an app you can plug RSS feeds into on your iphone and away you go.

I subscribe to many different feeds on my crackberry. 3reef is one of those :)

    I think Newsgator would work.

    http://www.newsgator.com/individuals/netnewswireiphone/default.aspx

Download it, and when you subscribe to the feed, add the full URLs in the links above. It should allow you to read the forum without visiting the site.

I do iPhone development as a hobby. I'll see if i can play around with the rss stuff - maybe i can release a free app just for viewing threads.

Any existing newsreader for the iPhone would be able to do the same thing.
