    Was doing a search on aptasia, cuz i have something that kinda resembles one in my tank but it is in the back of the rockwork wo it is hard to tell for sure. If you get lucky on the net you figure you can find serveral pics of what your trying to id from several angles and So...... rather then ask another id question i searched the web.

    I'm confused even though I value Xenia about as much as Aptasia that is clearly not aphasia. Aptasia thry joejuicing your Xenia colony LOL

    Kind of looks like a goniopora to me, but definitley not aptasia.

    This looks very much like the Goniopora sp. There is still alot about this coral that is not known...its very hard to keep long term but its definatly not Aiptasia :)

    I'm jumping on the goniopora bandwagon too. Either that or an alveopora :)

    Alveopora has 12 tentacles on each polyp while Goniopora has 24.
    Definately a Goniopora species.
