HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD THEM (LED'S): Over the tank for 5 months

PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE: If you like to build stuff your self go with the CREEs.as of now IMO I feel them to be proven to grow different types of corals..I still am going to add a couple more different colors and a couple UV LEDs for more of a full spectrum(like exactlyobp did which looks INSANE)..but I can't believe the growth I got with the LEDs over my halides...Plus my energy bill dropped ALOT also no heat issues any more with the tank..never broke 78 Deg in the heat of summer

EDIT/UPDATE 2/24/12 Ive added some Cool white, Blue , and UV LEDs since the original post to add a more full spectrum.. I have to say the color has really come to life, so much more crisp/bright and growth has been great..

Great thread Vinny, I am thinking of changing just because you can get such a great variety of spectra like exactlyobp.

PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE: very happy with the light to this point now. they are teh very first models so I cant speek for what there are now but I am positive they have improved from there. they are really easy to set up and run and make a great addition to any small tank but for a tank over 55 gallons you might eant to try there other fixtures. from a reaing of 1-10 I will give them a 8

i have a actinic al blue panorama module on my 5 gallon along with an ecoxotic par38 bulb. i couldnt be more pleased with both the lighting systems and i can really grow anything under there. it also is a very clean looking fixture and relatively easy to mount. i have mine hanging from a hanging kit i made from some metal brackets and i couldnt be more pleased.
