3Reef moderators

Hey there everyone Does anyone know what the best way is to contact 3reef moderators? I have a few questions. One of my threads was deleted and I'm not sure if it was a mistake, or if I posted in the wrong forum or if I'm simply not allowed to make this kind of post.

My original thread "Elton John suicide attempt" was just me being silly. I got so many great reactions to it that I thought it would be fun to start making mock news report posts regularly. When my second post "LennyKravits assaults Elton John & Jesus" was deleted I was not sure if maybe I had done something that was not allowed? If anyone can tell me whether or not I should stop making these posts or maybe post them in a different forum or something I would really appreciate it. (These really are the names of my fish, and the posts really are based on tank activity with a healthy dose of silliness thrown in)

 

Normally you will get a PM from the mod letting you know what is going on. If not try posting in the Lounge forum. Or PM Matt or a mod to get some help.

 

Unfortunately your thread took a turn to references to drug use and that is not allowed on 3Reef. it was not your post but those who took it to a negative place that caused it to be removed

Oooooohhhhhh! Gotcha. I guess I shouldn't have answered him. Sorry about that, it never occured to me not to respond to someone's comment. Where can I find a list of things that are not allowed so that at least I won't be party to any more violations? Your help is much appreciated, thank you

 

dang, i like reading your post about the fish assaulting each other, i thought it was an interesting twist on a topic that comes up pretty often.

 

It's pretty simple. The tone of banter on 3reef is "family friendly" so if you wouldn't say it in front of a child or your grandmother then don't say in on here.

I kind of thought the thread would be closed as to the mention of a religious figure. Any time you do something like that in a public forum, you are bound to offend someone. This is why on most forums, mods typically disallow religious and political talk.
