4 54w T5 vs. 4 65w Power Compacts?

    I currently run 4 65w UVL power compact bulbs. Contemplating if running 4 54w T5's would be about the same performance wise or would it be superior?

    The T5 fixture would be a Tek.

    I agree....Far superior. And TEKs!!!! Excellent.....a very good fixture.

    There are a ton of combinations and I hope you get a great set!


    A lot of people change out the bulbs they come with - they're not the best. But if you're trying to save money, the bulbs they come with are still better than the PC lights (if they come with them)... you could always wait to upgrade the bulbs in 9 months when you need to change them anyway... that's what I'm doing.
