Very interesting on the difference. The bluer bulb should cause slower growth but better color.

everything still humming along in the pico. I'm sticking with the 4xblue, 1xwhite LED for now, I'm starting to see some coral growth and I like the color better....the only down side it that it's not as bright as the 3xblue, 2xwhite LED.

I tried trapping the coral banded but wasn't successful. Recently I notice him and the damsel are getting along, they are hanging out close to eachother with no issues so I'm leaving him in there for now.

It's hard to get good pics with the bluer light but I'll probably give it a shot this wknd.

updated pics. The quality of the glass vase sucks, I still can't figure out how to take sharp pics through it, but here you go...

    Here's the vase...

While I was trying to get some shots of the vase, I took a few shots of my main tank, here are my tangs, yeah I know, I should get a FTS...the few I took came out blurred, I'll take a few more later...

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Really beautiful. Wonderful mixture of the large euphyllias, candy canes, xenia. What is up with that pink monitpora growth though? The center pieces looks like it is growth straight up like a wall on one side.

thanks Corailline, lol. Yeah that monti is encrusting everything in sight. My anemone split and one of them is stinging the heck out of the monti and candycane, I'm trying to remove one of the nemes without destroying it but no luck.

MAP, try putting an ice cube on teh foot of the nem. it will eventually let go. takes about 3 cubes and also use a turkey baster once you get a little bit of the foot off. just blast water underneath it and use the ice cube. I have removed many that way.
