Thanks for the suggestion. I tried the ice thing today, after about 7 cubes I gave up, but I had to get the new anemone out, it killed off about 1/4 the candy cane that was infront of it and also a good section of the monti. I ended up using a knife to chip off pieces of rock near to it's leg and use the turkey baster to help detach it. After about an hr I got it off but the leg got messed up a bit, piece of it actually got ripped because it was too deep into the rock. I put it in my pico vase under LEDs, hopefully it recovers. I'm not happy about it but I had to get him out and I couldn't remove the rock because it's anchored beneath the sandbed.....I'll keep you posted, it would be interesting to see how it reacts to LEDs.

The anemone looks much better today, it opened up. Now that my main tank that I took it out of has cleared up, I could see that I really butchered it, good chunk pieces of it are still attached to the rock but with the limited space, the risk of breaking other corals and not being able to move the rock I don't think I could have done better.

It opened up however it moved into a cave out of the light, maybe the LEDs are too bright for it....we'll see what happens over the next few days.

After the anemone settled down in the vase, I moved the rock it was attached to around so it's facing the front of the tank, it's doing great. It's all bubbled up and bright green and pink, which is weird, it looks much better than the one in my main tank what produced it (split). I think it likes the BoostLED now that it has acclimated. The lighting is the only difference between my main tank and the vase. Some of my test corals frags were also bleaching under the LED, I had to move the light a bit higher up, so far I'm liking the results of LEDs, I might even try a clam next.

Thanks. I zipped-tie a few pieces of rock. It was a Talbot Damsel fish but I took him out because I also have a coral banded shrimp in there...here's why I took out the fish:

I also took out some of the frags to give the anemone some more room, I have to post some new pics soon.

Thanks. The vase being plumbed into my main system maintains the same parameters. Other than cleaning the glass every once in a while, it's pretty much hands off.

The vase is about 3 months old and doing great. Need to play around with my camera a bit, still can't get the pics right...here are a few updates...

This is the bubbletip from the last split in my main tank, it bubbles up under LED but in the main tank it looks like an LTA.

Thanks. The anemone is doing great under your PAR30 LED. The pics don't do it justice, but you could see it's bubbled up and the colors are way more intense than the one in my main tank it's hard to believe it's a split off the other anemone. I'm actually thinking of putting a spot BoostLED over the one in my main tank, maybe it would bubble up and bring out the colors too.
