    Hey map, I am thinking about buying a boost led par 30 to spot light in my 55 gallon do you think I should go with the 4 blue 1 white or should I go 3 blue and only 1 white? sry not tryin to steal thread just would love ur opinion btw the tank is looking great after 3 months, I remember when you where first settin this thing up :D

    All depends on your preference of color and the corals you have or plan to keep. Will you be using the PAR30 bulbs as your primary lighting or are you trying to supplement your existing lighting? If so, what do you currently have?

    I have the 3xblue + 2xwhite on my fuge where I also have a frag rack and I'm seeing better growth than the 4xblue + 1xwhite on the vase. However, I like the 4xb + 1xw color better for the vase.

    Yeah I was going to be using it on my main tank as a spotlight so I can grow some corals underneath it my current lighting is just for a fowlr I have 2 36" florescent fixtures

    Not a bad start if you want to try some corals.

    thanks yeah, I ordered one while they were having there super bowl sale :D I got the 4 blue 1 white with 40 degree optics I love the blue color of yours lol I can't wait till I get mine... how long was the shipping do you remember??

    I ordered my bulbs from the pre-order and they took a bit longer than expected to come due to some over seas holidays, but John was pretty cool about keeping me updated on the status.

    aww gotcha lol Im patient however once I know something is in the mail or about to be on its way haha im extremely impatient :D im hopin for it tomorrow :p yay cant wait lol

    I switched back from the 4xb + 1xw BoostLED to the 3xb + 2xw BoostLED PAR30 bulb. Not as blue and I get better pics but I prefer the 4/1 combo better in person. Here are a few updated pics:
