Nice work! BTW tile and granite suppliers have those bits in-stock for $40 tops.

Although I buy 1-3/8" for faucets so I may be way wrong.

Built the overflow pipe tonight out of white PVC and spray painted it flat black to match the back of the tank...

Tomorrow I'll be running the 1/4" return tubing, inside the 3/4" overflow.

Ran the return line, please let me know if you see any problems with this design... In my original design, the plan was to cut a 4" PVC pipe and glue it to the back of the tank to cover up the plumbing, but it don't look too bad so I might leave it as-is.

This is a VERY cool build. hope that tubing isnt too much of straight line flow.

Yeah, I'll be testing it out probably tomorrow night. I might have to cut the tubing shorter and add a 1/4 elbow to try and get the flow to go to teh bottom of the tank.

There was a shipping mixup so I didn't get the LED I ordered, but BoostLED will be sending me out another one tomorrow, hopefully I'll get some light over the tank early to mid next week.

For sand I picked up a 20 lb bag of CaribSea Fiji Pink....smallest bag I could find around here.

For LR I'm taking some rock rubble out of my sump, is there a good "reef safe" epoxy that would dry under water? I'm thinking of gluing a few small pieces together to form some sort of a structure...either that or zip ties but I don't want the glue or zip ties to be visible.

Thanks guys, guess I didn't mention it in my last post :cheesy:. I filled the tank up with water and live sand (~1.5") last night, hopefully by the time I get back from work today it would be clear. I plan to put the LR in tomorrow. Since it don't need cycling, I'll probably also be dropping in a few scarlet hermits, maybe a nassarius snail or 2 and the fiji talbot damsel I've had in QT for a while now. I'll also be adding a coral banded shrimp.
