4 african chiclids

    first off my 99.9% sure male aurtus w/egg spots !cid__Photo0156.jpg , next is im guessing his mate shes? blue with black vertical stripes w/o egg spots !cid__Photo0157.jpg , then my soild orange w/egg spots !cid__Photo0154.jpg , and the newest a blueish yellow with vertical black stripes w/o egg spots !cid__Photo0153.jpg . what are they?! and boys? or girls? any help is greatly appreciated

    pic1 - yes aurtus
    pic2 - hard to tell without seeing the tail end of the fish for markings... but it looks like either a cynotilapia or metriaclima lombardoi could also be a mbuna i suppose but its hard to tell from the pic
    pic3 - a labidochromis of sorts it seems
    pic4 - a type of metriaclima it appears

    oh and the guppy in pic4 - thats gonna be dinner :)

    Thanks :) and actualy no for some odd reason my chiclids dont eat the guppies only when they pop some babies out do the chichlids bother them, its almost like the chichlids pretend to be a doctor and insted of catchin the babies in a set of hands they use their mouths lol

    hrmm my electric blue will eat guppies whole.... in fact so has one of my south african cichlids.

    heres my electric blue (R.I.P he got into a fight and lost) - [​IMG]

    this pic was also back when i had small stones for a substrate because someone on cichlid-forum told me it'd mimic their natural habitat more. well sure, but keeping it clean is a nightmare. becomes a huge nitrate factory. i moved to sand later, it actually buffers better too.

    ha my electric blue did that too. anyway boys have spots on the bottom fin and girls dont is what i remember
