I have picked out 4 fish that I want for my 20 gallon FOWLR aquarium. They are each a pretty decent size, but the real question is, are 4 fish able to survive greatly in a well-established 20 gallon aquarium?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Seems like an appropriate list and a good grouping of fish types. I would not try to add any others to a 20 gallon. Keeping feedings light with a quality food and do the routine water changes and you should be fine.

You might want to make sure you have a cover for the tank though. I believe firefish are jumpers.
