    Thanks everyone for the comments.

The tang will be going back to the LFS for store credit or sold to a local reefer. The store credit or sale may go back to getting another one about the same size or maybe another type.

The sump is a 20H. The tank was originally a 20L for 9 months, then upgraded and ran for another 9 months then moved and has been set up since October.

The sand bed seems to doing fine. I liked the idea of having a fuge, but also enjoy the looks of mangroves and macro algae, so I thought I would make it some what of a display sump/fuge. Unfortunately I replaced most the sand when I moved so its starting over. I have a BM NAC3.5 skimmer. It pulls a ton of crud out.

Does the overflow empty into the same section as the return pump?

No, they are in separate sections. The return does sit right behind the overflow but it is divided. The water flows in a 'U' shape.

My original idea was a 20l or 29 for a sump but I didn't quite measure correctly. I made it work and I have the space I need for now. At least until we buy house and can upgrade to a 125+

Below are a few pics of the BTA I picked up today. It's a nice orange with and green base. Hopefully once it settles in I can get a better picture.
