For a while now i have been thining about building an All in one tank out of a 40 gallon breeder. I am planning on putting a false wall that goes the length of the tank 36" x 16" and having it about 4" from the back of the tank. This area will house pumps, Skimmer, Refugium/sump. I am looking to house a reef safe creature that wil eat fish. My fw tank is teeming with molies and endlers.

    What is a decent 36" t5 unit over 150 w?
Has anyone seen a tank done like this?
What would be a good invert or fish to house in this tank? (keep in mind i want corals in there as well.)

150 watts is a good size for softies and LPS, but you may have a tougher time growing SPS. I think your saying you want a creature that will feed off of mollies and endlers. You may want to look into a mantis shrimp, or a predatory fish like lionfish. The problem is that mollies and endlers are a freshwater food source. By feeding only freshwater food, you will kill your animal with malnutrition. Ocean creatures have different nutritional value than freshwater, so it is not recommended to feed freshwater fish to saltwater predators. There are good articles about nutrition on this site that you should read.
