40 gallon breeder build

So I will have to build a bubble trap for the new skimmer, plenty of bubbles in the sump and making their way to the DT but not a big problem. I was already planning on this to maintain proper water level for the skimmer. So far it has just been breaking in and hopefully after it is broken in the amount of bubbles will decrease. Maybe it is how cones work?

Well I am a noob, the bubbles in the sump are all gone. Skimmer just needed to break in.

 

The new skimmer is awesome, I might as well had not even ran the old one compared. The micro bubbles are gone and I am trying to dial this thing in just right. Skimmate is a bit wet for my taste but it is pulling out everything it should be.

just bought sc 302 was wondering how u placed the bubble plate mine came half drilled just wanted to know how u put yours over the pump thanks

 

I placed the half drilled portion over the intake area of the pump no instructions on how to setup these things up so some "let's try this" was in order.

 

I can not seem to upload any pics, I have sent a message to the admin, but their reply did not fix it. sorry still working on it.

so I found a small leak and was never really satisfied with my stand so I am going to do a break down re-build on the stand, plumbing and probably do a C2C over flow will let 3reef know when the time comes.
