40 gallon Breeder t5 lighting. 5 or 6 bulbs!??

    Yea, that makes perfect sense. Thanks for the responses! I've been working out the design and if I put 4 bulbs in there, with 2.5" individual reflectors 3/8" apart, I'll be able to get a pretty good spread front to back.

    I would have at least one pure actinic if not two in your bulb mix if your are doing softies and LPS. I advise against the UVL Super Actinic as it is much stronger than standard pure actinic bulbs. I would get 1 ATI Aquablue Special and 1 ATI Purple Plus along with 2 pure actinic bulbs,

    If there are any people out there that have 40 breeders with more than 4 bulbs that do NOT keep mostly SPS, I would love to hear your experiences with coral and light intensity. Pics are always welcome!! lol

    Everybody is keeping SPS in their 40 breeders? lol Cmon reefers!! :eek:
