Ok Iv been here a couple days now so I figure I better get my tank up with some pics for everyone.

MY saltwater build has been going for about a year now. Its been through 3 tanks now each one a little bigger and better lighting.

My current tank is a 40 gallon with built in fuge, wet dry, and sump. Im running JBJ PC lighting. to 50/50 bulbs at 96 watts each. Im also running a 28 watt PC wedged between the wall and tank behind the fuge.

I got this tank in new condition from the LFS for $180. This included tank, bio media, stand, lighting, and return pump. Cant beat that deal!

I have minimal coral right now. Just a few types of polips a kenya tree and a couple of leathers.

My fish stock as of now is a false perc clown, clarkii clown, scribbled rabbit fish, snowflake eel, scooter blenny, sandsifting star and of course the cleaning crew.

    Anyway some pictures for you:

Havent got a picture of the scribble yet. Very camera shy. Tell me what you think.

The fuge is built into the back of the tank. The tank is made by Uniquarium. Awesome design comes with a built in heater compartment, wet dry filter and pump installed. There was also an extra spot at the beginning of the filter with two compartments that I made into my fuge. Nicest part is the main tank light casts plenty of light down on it. I also wedged another PC light behind the tank to give me fuge light exposure on the side too.

Already did it. Drained it down most the way into buckets. Moved the rock into the buckets. Lifted one end of the tank and just slid it onto the stand that was sitting next to the old sand. Put all the rocks and water back and I was done in less than an hour. Not as bad as I expected.

Thank you I was hoping I would get some good feedback on it. Wasnt sure if I was following the right path having both wet dry and a fuge in such small proportions. Ill see in the coming weeks if it works by how good the water quality stays.
