    I certainly sympathize with the power issue. I live out of town and lose power several times a year. I wouldn't even consider a reef tank without a generator... Just part of the setup costs. If you can get the "natural skimmer" setup to work, it would be worth all the karma in the world if you can show it in action.

    Another update. My frag tank is full of frags. Most just single head frags but when they grow out to at least 5 they will be up for sale. Also got my 20g tall running on the same sump now. Water now stays at a constant 79 even with 250 watts of MH.

    When I get the room I will start on the beach tank/natural skimmer.

    please mike, an updated pic! i dug this tank out because i just remembered it and cant wait to see a picture! i remember reading this thread a while ago not being able to wait for an update now that you had all the right equiptment!
