Man I am sorry to hear that. Sounds like a blizzard got you.

 

I just got my new return pump in the mail, (aqua-mag 7) I heard the exposed screws are titanium can anyone confirm this?

 

Tank has a small (for now) crack by the bulkhead... I am thinking this redo is cursed. I am now thinking about the IM SR60, I have lusted after one since they came out and now since I will be buying a new tank anyway. Wife approval to follow.

 

I was just looking at the SR60 gorgeous tank! hopefully if you get one you will start a thread so I can follow

 

I have 38 and could not be happier. I would absolutely purchase another IM

 

so right now the IM tank is not in the budget so I bought another 40B at Petco's $1 per gallon sale, I will swap out the tanks and wait for the IM.

 

Ya that is pretty expensive for sure. You should see if your local LFS can get a price on tank alone and you build the stand. That is what we did for our 38 and saved hundreds.

At least do that next time if you had not done it.
