I tore down my 75g a while back do to lack of time. I got some extra cash from the holidays and decided to setup a new tank. I wanted to do some thing different so I ordered a 40g breeder. What I have:

150 pounds of lace and LR ( going to pick out the best peices to make a cool scape)

    modified 75g stand

    20g long sump/fuge

    2 fishes carbon reactor

    overflow and mag 5 return

several koralia and sicce powerheads (not sure on what to use for flow yet)

2 bags of seaflor special grade sand and some random sand for the fuge

2 bags of reef crystal salt

    heater

I will be purchasing a coral life super 65 skimmer from my LFS and a 4 bulb HO T5 from marineland as well. I will have the stand and sump/fuge ready for the tank on fri. Hopefully I will have the tank scaped and filled with water to start my cycle on sat.! I am going to pick up a few peices of LR from an est. tank to seed the lace rock and a nice dead shrimp to get the cycle started.

For now I am going to work on getting the old sump cleaned and start making some RO and salt water. I plan on making this an SPS tank with a few reef safe fish. Should be a fun build!

A few selected rocks soaking in the tub. More pics to come this week!

Thanks for the kind replies! I am taking this build slow and do have some really good plans. I did a mock up scape on some cardboard last night (at 4:30am lol). I have a good SPS scape in mind, I just hope I can remember how to put it back together! I have been doing a lot of research on here and am pumped for the tank to arive this week!

I am going to beef up the stand today with more 2x4's and build a little internal shelf as well. More pics to follow.
