    Op Test 1 of tank

So I tested the tank today with just the overflow and the returne pump.

Found out that the returne pump does not have a check valve in it. So I ordered one online. But seems to be quiet.

    Not my idea

Ok this was not my idea. I saw a picture of this on 3reef and built it. 80 gallons of water on hand. 40 RO/DI and 40 Salt. The salt tank has two 1350 pumps moving the water and a heater to keep it at 76 deg.

Great Idea. I'm not shure who came of with this idea but someone here on 3reef did. I copied it. Thank you who ever you are.

    Sump is in

    3/28/12

I got the sump yesterday. Got it in the tank and tested it works great. I put about 15 gallons of water in the sump and into the overflow to test it and now the tank and stand is unlevel. The tank is leaning to the back. I'm pretty sure that it is the 5 gallons of water that is in the overflow that is the cause.

    Move complete

Move complete. Hope the tank does not cycle with all of the new sand and crushed coral. Going to the store to pick of some light for the sump and another pump to put water to the top right of the tank. I have a film on the top right side.

Let me know what you think.
